Giants Win In Motown - Let Lions Stick Around

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

This was one of those victories that you can chalk up as ugly. The Giants prevailed in the game 16 - 10, however the offense gave the Lions way too many chances, and in a big game against a good team (like we saw a week ago against the Cowboys), the better teams will take advantage of those mistakes and make you pay.

Twice, deep in Lions territory with the Giants ready to strike for some points, the offense put the ball on the ground, giving the Lions explosive offense a chance to get right back into it. Mistakes, that fortunately for Big Blue, did not hurt them.

Impact Rookies - Defense

Monday, May 26th, 2008

Which rookies will have the biggest impact on the field in 2007? The Football Fanatics gives you the answers right here. This is our prediction for the top six (everybody does top five so I wanted to be different) defensive rookies who will have the greatest impact this upcoming season.

1. Patrick Willis, LB, San Francisco 49ers: Willis has a chance to become the fifth consecutive linebacker to win NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. The former Ole Miss standout is a team leader on and off the field. He can play inside or out and is very athletic and strong. Is solid against the run and pass. He’s a hard worker who will play hurt. Everything you want in a linebacker. Has Hall of Fame potential.

Tips For Buying Sports Tickets

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

Purchasing sports tickets can either be a very easy situation or become an unbarring ordeal. Much depends on how well the team is playing, the match up for the game and what part of the season it is. Of course getting tickets for a bad match up when your team is well below five hundred at the end of the season is a lot easier then getting tickets to the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees in game seven fighting it out for the division title and a spot in the World Series. Such great and classic match ups as the example above are what makes sports so entertaining and for fans the supply and demand factors of tickets become a major factor.
