On the topic of organized living I would like to share with you a story about my friend Betty. This story illustrates the real purpose behind organized living. When people ask the question “How to get organized?” the question reflects an inner feeling of not being in control. The real benefit of organized living is not neatness or tidiness… it is control!
Here is the story of my friend Betty
One day my friend Betty lamented that she was indeed disorganized and that she could use my help.

Eating healthy is something that we all know is important to our well-being yet, instead of preparing healthy meals, we stop at the drive-thru or we eat packaged foods or fried foods that are high in saturated fat and carbohydrates.
If we indulged every once in awhile it probably wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but too many of us indulge in these foods all the time and we are paying for it in the way of declining health and weight gain. Poor diet has even been linked to depression, so eating healthy really is important. Healthy affirmations can help your eating habit improve and can lead to a healthy lifestyle starting today!

One thing that we all have in common is that we want to be happy in life. Of course what makes people happy is different for everyone but nonetheless we all want it. Finding happiness is not really as hard as a lot of people make it. Here are 3 keys to finding happiness.
1. Find out what makes you happy.
The other day I was talking to someone that said they aren’t happy and wanted to know if I had any suggestions to help them. I asked them what it would take for them to feel happy. They had never really thought about that before which surprised me. After all, if you don’t know what makes you happy you will wonder around aimlessly searching for something that you don’t know what it looks like.

A theme that continues to come up on Sedona Retreats is the idea that you can allow the path to serenity to be easy. We all have a tendency to want to make it complicated. During a session with a client, I asked, “Could you allow how you discover what you are looking for to be easy?” She was struck by this simple question; it seemed to really penetrate her. It surprised me too. I thought this is the essence of what gets in the way of clients crossing from an intellectual spirituality to a knowing. They aren’t aware that there is a thought inside them that knows finding serenity is easy!

We’re supposed to be in paperless society, right? There’s a proliferation of cyber-information on the Internet, scanners on every desk, e-mail, e-books, virtual catalogs, webinars, virtual property tours, and so much more available via computer, so why should we even have any paper floating around at all? If you’re like me, you are overwhelmed with the amount of paper that’s generated from the computer. Paperless? I don’t think so!

In this article I shall be talking about suggestibility tests. The main reason any hypnotist would ever choose to utilize suggestibility testing is to get some indication as to how suggestible a person or persons may be to hypnosis.
In clinical practice, suggestibility testing isn’t generally used, because it’s of little relevance. Our therapy isn’t based on achieving hypnosis rapidly, nor do we seek to make any kind of point or impression about hypnosis.

A reality check is a good time management technique. When you procrastinate because of exaggeration you exaggerate the extent and involvement of a project. Part of you is hoping that will make others just give up and go away, but that doesn’t work all that often. Break the project down into it’s components to understand the full scope of the project, and then just work on one component at a time until it’s done.
Another good time management technique is to get the overall scope down on paper before starting anything. Write out a quick rough draft identifying the big pieces needed for the project. Check and review to make sure you haven’t forgotten anything, and that you haven’t added more than is necessary.

We all are aware of the fact that we are the architect of all that occurs in all of our lives. We tend to create our physical life experience through our thoughts. Accurately, every thought that we think of gives birth to a creation. So indeed every thought has creative power to perform.
In general, the subconscious accepts whatever you pretend is real and will use it to create your outer reality. The thoughts that you think, regarding those things that you want, set into action the formation, and eventual fulfillment of that which you want. And likewise, the thoughts that you assume, regarding those things that you do not want, set into motion the creation, and eventual fulfillment of that which you do not want.
