What Is A Hydrogen Generator Conversion Kit?

Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

When you hear the term “Hydrogen Generator conversion” it sounds like some huge undertaking where a cars engine is removed and replaced with a Hydrogen generator. Other misleading phrases being used for marketing hydrogen generators are “water for fuel” and “run your car on water”. Cars that run on water alone are still on the drawing board. What is meant by a phrase like “running your car on water” is that water can supply a small quantity of supplemental hydrogen to your engine that is supposed to improve gas mileage significantly.

How does it work?

Selling Number Plates - A Guide

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

Anyone who has sold (or tried to sell) a number plate will know that you have are 3 main options when selling a number plate. You can either

  • Sell ‘on commission’ through a dealer or
  • Sell directly to a dealer or
  • Sell independently

Selling a number plate on commission:

Usually, there are no advertising fees when you sell through a dealer. Dealers will charge a commission fee on selling your number plate. This can be up to 60% of the advertised retail price. For instance, when a number plate is for advertised sale at around £1000, up to £600 could be dealer commission fees. For higher priced number plates, fees may come down to around 12%, which will still add up to £1000’s.

Sometimes dealers charge a fee for a ‘sponsored listing’ to make sure your number plate appears at the top of the search list for selected word(s).

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

Every year, hundreds of air brake lock systems and other security measures are rendered useless and proven ineffective by thieves. In 2005 for example, the Federal Bureau of Investigation estimated that around $12 to $20 billion worth of cargo and equipment are stolen every year in the country.

And with expensive goods (electronics, cards, etc.) being transported on the road everyday and trucks becoming increasingly pricier, thieves that target trucks and tractors are not bound to slow down anytime soon. The only solution is to take preventive measures to protect your investment and cargo. Here are some basic tips you can follow to ensure you won’t fall prey to the many truck thieves that lurk around the parking lot:

The Voip Revolution And How To Get It For Free

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

When the telephone was invented a century and a half ago, the public wasn’t ready for it. They were skeptical and thought it was just a toy, or a fad. The technology itself required years of tinkering by various people, including of course Alexander Graham Bell himself, until it became functional enough to spread and change the world. But perfect it they did; and change the world it did as well.

Corporate Governance Elements Of Sarbanes Oxley

Sarbanes Oxley Law, more commonly known as SOX, is a popular legal tool to ensure that the right measures of corporate governance are infused in the business operations to avoid any corporate scams or misreporting. In fact, the area governed by this act is much larger and diverse, yet the eventual aim is to curtail any illegal activity in the business sphere by tightening the grip of law on the overall operations, especially the financial proceedings.

Introducing The Corporate Event

Monday, April 21st, 2008

There are many different ways to advertise your company and show your appreciation for customers. A well-planned corporate event is one of the best means to achieve this.

A corporate event takes place when a business throws a get together (usually in the form of a party or dinner) that is aimed at seeming like a social gathering while actually being more of a business event. Many different types of businesses and other organizations throw corporate events in order to draw awareness to their company, or to showcase a particular product or service. The idea of having an entertaining way to present business related materials is appealing, and is more likely to draw attendees than a regular meeting.

Daily Aggravations

Sunday, April 20th, 2008

Are you bothered by aggravation? They do me, and many of them are unnecessary in my opinion. Allow me to list a few.

We Can Order It. When that occurs in a large store that do handle the type products you are looking for, but don’t have the item you want. I am talking items that are useful and common. A favorite come back is “we can order it for you.” My reply is usually “no thanks, I can order it and have it shipped to my house.”
