4 Steps To Excel At Article Writing
Article writing can benefit you in many ways. It can be a step to support your website, home based business, or just get you attention as an expert for other reasons. You can write articles fast and efficiently without taking extensive courses in it. Here are 4 steps to fast article writing.
Step 1: Plan Your Space
Most articles are of the Intro-Body-Conclusion format. This helps you keep track of what you’re writing. A good way to approach this is to write the body first, then two short summaries. Use one of those summaries as your intro and the other as your conclusion, making sure that you have good transitions in between them.
Step 2: Watch
You should use the language of the population to which you are writing, but that doesn’t mean to overdo buzzwords and acronyms that only that population would understand. Perhaps someone who is interested in that field but knows little about it is reading your article. Fast article writing doesn’t need to include esoteric terms–speak to the least knowledgeable in your audience without talking down to the most knowledgeable.
Step 3: Watch Your Language Some More!
Be careful not to be overly descriptive or flowery. Sometimes people think it makes them look smarter, but it only frustrates a reader when he or she has to stop constantly to think about what’s really being said.
Step 4: Proofread
Don’t let errors make you look like a moron. Check and double check, and when you’re done have someone else check it as well. Because we wrote and typed it out, often we miss our own errors.
